Last week we got to guest blog on one of our favourite blogs, The Design Files. We decided to look at the trials and triumphs of life and some of the little things that often get overlooked. We focused on work, technology, family, the home, and shopping and did two special illustrations for each day. If you didn't get a chance to have a look pop on over. On Friday they had an interview with Margaret Pomeranz from At The Movies so for that day I'm going to pretend that Margaret and I were coworkers! |

RRR have been playing Streamers by Brous a lot this month and she is set to tour next month. The song has been stuck in my head making me long for a '60s theme party where we can dress as Joanie from Mad Men and cut some sweet moves on the dance floor. |

Pikaland has been one of my favourite blogs for years now. It features great art and illustration from around the world including Philippines illustrator Bru Sim. If you're into illustration they have a great resource at Camp Pikaland featuring how to's and boot camps to kick start creativity. |

We have been hopping in a time machine and travelling to the 1990s by way Jerry Seinfeld this month. There is so much to love in this show and once you get over the double breasted suits and the jeans with sneakers you realise the show hasn't really dated. We can't work out who is our favourite but we do know we want to shift to a rent controlled apartment in Manhattan and eat copious amounts of cereal. If you're free in the afternoon it is on normal TV as channel Go play it at 1pm. Yay for daytime TV! |

WIN A RECORD ATTEMPTS JOURNAL |
How to Enter: Tell us about the best advice your Dad (or another significant man in your life) has ever given you. If you want some inspiration then this twitter feed might help, remember it spawned a TV show with Cpt. James T. Kirk.
Prize is Drawn: September 15th |
Prize: We have two Record Attempts journals to give away. The journals are made from recycled records and each one retains the album sleeve, both front and back and the paper is a lovely post consumer recycled stock. We both have one and they are pretty ace. I love the paper, unlike most journals you can use a texta colour and it doesn't go through to the other side.
